My dads car that I now have is a 97 neon sport. There's some things I'm not sure about, like will the trunk hatch of a 2005 fit on the 97? Because I'm on my social security I'm going to be getting some things from the junk yard.

Friendly outside looking in advice. Don't attach people to things. Take some pictures or a video clip to your satisfaction and let the car go. If I were living on SS, I know my dad would slap me upside the head for using it on such things. I get it though.
