Hi everyone,

New here. Just picked up a 99 2.0 built DOHC Neon and have a quick question about the transmission. This car made 690whp on 33psi with a 6265 Precision turbo, the owner told me he uses 10w40 high mileage engine oil in the transmission. I of course questioned this, but he said I could find a lot of information about this on the forums. So far, I haven't been able to find any. My question is, should I really be running this oil in 5 speed? If so, how often should it be changed?
