WOn't start!!!!!!
 

1 of my 1995 Neons was recently involved in an accident....i have most of the problems....i mean a couple of weeks ago i had her up and running...1 day when i went to start her up all it did was a clinging sound..i was told that it was probably my starter motor..so i changed it for another 1 from my other neon..but now she doesn't even try to start..she doesn't even make that noise anymore!?!!!even my radio barely works anymore..my battery is fully charged and when i put the key in the ignition it does the usual engine checks...anybody have any suggestions on what the problem may be????any info would be extremely helpful!!!!!!

Check the battery again and also look for corrosion around the terminals and on the wires themselves. The clicking sound is your starter, but it's not getting enough juice from the battery to turn over and start the car.

u know what....i have the Haynes manual and that what it says and i checked it i dunno how many times now....i even changed both my terminals that connect to my battery..i guess i'll check the wirs again..anyways..thx for the info

Theres a nut on top of the starter if you look down at it from front of the car. Make sure its clean and tight. Mine was loose one day and had the problems your having. Tightened it up and away she went!
