95 NEON WON'T START NO SPARK HELP!!!!
 

HEY I HAVE A 95 NEON JUST DIED ON ME ONE DAY AND IT WILL NOT START BACK UP IT SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO START BUT WON'T THE ONLY CODE I GOT WAS THE ONE ABOUT IT NOT STARTING IN LAST 50 STARTS BUT I HEAR THATS CRAP I CHANGED THE COMPUTER NOTHING GOT NEW PLUGS AND WIRES STILL NOTHING DISCONECTED THE FUEL FUSE IT WAS FINE NOT BLOWN TRIED THE RELAY STILL NOTHING TRIED TO REST THE COMP.NOTHING THINKING ABOUT GETTING NEW COIL BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA OR KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS PLEASE HELP I HAVE HAD THE CAR DOWN FOR 2 MONTHS AND FINANCIALLY CAN'T TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC NOT ENOUGH $$$$$$ CAN ANYONE HELP ME AND POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION SO I CAN GET MY CAR UP AND RUNNING AGAIN I WOULD GREATLY APPRICIATE IT THANKS.

It could be a sensor, or your coilpack. I'm sure someone will chime in with what sensor it could be. Good luck, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Have you had the battery tested? Might not be putting out enough juice to turn it over. Also check wires and terminals for corrosion.

my neon wont fire if it turns over kinda slow from a weak battery, but the first thing i would check is the signal from the crank sensor

just to add -if the timing belt jumped a few teeth they will try to fire and spit & sputter but wont start for anything, might be another thing to check out

Hey my 98 neon won't start either. cranks no turning. changed pcm and sensor. checked fuel pump not it. what else? Oh what sensor was you talking about and where on the car is it in the engine? I pulled out the fuel line it is getting fuel.......

What's your fuel pressure at the rail? Have you checked your battery and terminals and all connections for corrosion?

hey i build these cars for racing 93 to 99 cars were built with a five ground system in them if any one of these grounds is off it will not have spark or fuel pump in working order three grounds under hood one on fuel pump and one is located on p side of car rear seat area under the carpet bewteen seat and floor also check plug in on spark pack on top of motor as for crank sensor could be its located on d side of engine looking down at tran housing about 1 oclock 4 small 10 mil bolts holding it in may have heater hoses in way should be behind them on engine
