with a pt engine, there is no way to get a sohc hood to clear without cutting a hole in it.
I had a sohc hood with my dohc engine. cut the bracing out and it was good to go.
tried again with a cf sohc hood, WILL NOT fit with a pt 2.4. 01 or 02 for that matter.

Yeah, friend of mine has a 96 I believe neon with a turbo'd 2.4 swap.

Anyways, the hood wouldnt fit without the art of a hammer.
