Is the fuel pump in the tank, because I went and got the plastic tank and it came with a fuel pump lookin' thing on it. It has a big screw on ring around it and 1 fuel line out, and 1 electrical plug.

I concur with Spud. Might want to replace it while it's out though for preventative maintenance.

Sweet, sounds like the plastic tank is better in most regards. I'm going to leave the metal tank on for now because the guy I got my Neon from said he did the fuel pump in it before he stopped driving it. And the tank doesn't leak yet so.......
