how much torque would i loose if/when i take out the cat. and put in a straight pipe?

 

i was reading a magazine that they did it with a b18 civic si
and it was only like a 1 hp and 1 tq gain over a high flow cat (they dynoed it and the test pipe gave them like 5 hp and 4 tq)

but i don't know if it's any different for our cars...

 

Well our 2.0L dont rev to 8 or 9 grand like a civic can, so more flow would benifit them I would guess.

 

the neons arent afraid of having no back pressure.....it helps them breath better.....i noticed a slight difference when i took mine out
