BTW, do you know where I can download the Haynes manual for neon (PDF format)?
www.autozone.com has some good info and how-to's on their website as well as others.

I don't know of any such links for manuals. There was a download for a 97 Neon factory manual on this forum but it has now been pulled. I assume due to copy right issues.
You assume correct.

The current scanner I have is a Toptak TP-100 that I bought new on Ebay for about $65.00us.

As far as laptop adaptors, Google it, there are lots out there. Around $100 and up.
This is just one I ran across.

Hi. Do you still have your Neon? I need a scanner for my 1995 Dodge Neon Highline.
