wierd overheating issues in both my neon's

hi all im having issues with both of my neons i own a 1999 neon dohc and a 1995 neon sohc and the both seem to have the same overheating issues ,

you can drive these things for miles on end no overheating but when you come to a idle or a stop light you automatically see the gauge sky rocket into the dead zone and you can also hear the boiling sound comeing out of the overflow , and both of the neon overheat the same way it only seems to over heat at idle ,
the have both new rads less than a year old , new therms less that a month old , clean flush less than a a year old done while rads was done , and ideals here ,

do you thing it could be the rad fan control relays ? the temp sensor switch ? air in the system ?

i already no its not a blown head , or bad rads or bad therms , so what the deal

is the a notoriuos problems with all the neons or something ?
or im i just lucky enuogh to have two neons with the same problems lol

please get back to me and let me know more info or what to check , thank you guys and gurls , hope to here from you soon , thank you .

Radiator cap, Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) or air in the system.

i had the same exact problem in my car the thing was my car computer was pretty much fried but instead of wasting a ton of money gettin a new one i have a little hook up sensor on my fans which realizes when it heating up and they automatically turn on. when ur driving the air blows through and it wont overheat but when ur at a stop its a whole diffrent situation.

Can't really check but what I do is gently squeeze the upper radiator hose (with the cap loose) during refilling, to help eliminate any trapped air[/b] bubbles.
