Default I love my truck.....

When say that people (who aren't truck owners) just can't understand. They say stuff like well it isn't fast or particularly good looking, or or doesn't handles like a car.....

It's hard to describe to someone who isn't a truck person why we love our trucks. If the SHTF the first thought thru my head would be "Well at least I have my Dodge which I KNOW will not let me down".

OH GOD! forget that, that is worse than trying to JUSTIFY having a truck to a Prius driver.

It's even worse when you have 2 old trucks that you drive fairly regularly.

Wolffie knows how that goes!

there is not many Prius drivers around here. don't have to explain myself to them.

now if i had a fuel inject v8 and 46rh in my 81 i would be completely happy even though the truck is cutting tires because of how much the week front springs are. they allow my truck to run smooth. i am pretty sure the thing would maneuver pretty good as is.

Do what?

I wish my 76 was more maneuverable.
The damn thing is so long and the front tires hit SOMETHING under the front end. lol

Oh well, it's fast for a 37 year old truck, I'm happy about that.

i changed my mind on what i was typing and forgot to delete a couple of words. the front springs on my 81 are week and let the front sit lower than is should.

Oh, that makes more sense.

Couldn't you yank the springs out of your 91 and swap them in, since you're not going to get it running properly..

they 91 doesn't sit much better. it sits pretty low. plus it has a broken coil. i think if i was going to bring the front of my 81 up i could just get those coil spacer things.

I guess that could be an issue.

My 76 sits pretty low, like almost right on the bump stops. lol
I think new shocks will help a bit though.
