By the way I'm not bashing magnums I'm just saying only way they would sway me is if it had 350hp lol. LOL @firefish don't mess with chihuahuas, if you do they will likely bark till your ears fall off!
I seem to remember the 318 magnum has almost 60 more HP than the non magnum......maybe more. I think mine is 180 the magnum the next year was 230+

You gotta remember that you can't tune OBDI that easily or inexpensively. Carbed engine are badass in that you just slap on a good exhaust, a slightly larger carb, advance the timing, throw in cooler spark plugs and you've got a good start.

318 TBI is only 170 horsepower, unfortunately. I'm not complaining, though. It's been a good motor for me. Just don't expect miracles. Good luck with the RC. How did you convince the guy to hold it until (i assume) December? Personally, if I were the seller, I don't think I'd be able to restrain myself to wait that long.

I'm a good talker I guess ha. I did pay a deposit but I told him if he sells it, I'm coming straight back to his house for my money. What are the best exhaust and header setups for a 318?

Longtubes and 2.25 true duals that have as few bends in them as possible.
