Default Removing lock/ignition cylinder on 1991 Dodge Ram

Hey, wondering how in the heck I remove the lock/ignition cylinder in my truck I cant seem to find how on the net sofar. Thanks

If your 91 is anything like my 92 it is easier than you think. At least it was on mine. Pull the plastice colum cover that encompasses the the ignition switch and the lock cylinder. It should require a phillip screwdriver. With these out of the way you should be able to see the retainer pin. Take a flat screwdriver and depress that pin and with the cylinder in the lock position. Now the lock cylinder should just pull out. You may have to turn the lock cyl toward the start position just a little to get it out.
