Hi,
i had a little accident last week and wrecked my
driverside door. I had luck and got a "new" door
in matching color from a junk yard.
The new door comes with power window and lock,
wich i don't have and not want.
I tried to get out the power window from the
door but i didn't find a way to do this.
Is it possible to swap from power windows to regular ?

i don't see this as imposible but it might be difficult. i don't think you would have to take the glass to switch to regular windows. the easiest thing i can think of is take apart both doors and see if they look similar and if you can just swap the internals. if you live in canada this is not the best time of year to be doing it.

 

Yes. All doors are made to accept both. Everything is held together with rivets so they must be drilled out and the replacements put back with bolts and nylocks. The window itself is the same. The motor and regulators need to be swapped.

I drilled out the rivets already but nothing else comes loose.
this spots are the same and i don't see any prob to
put that in but what else i have to unbold or drill to get
the internals out. i don't see any way, spend at least 1 hour
only for check this out.

Lower the window. Remove the vent window and main window front guide channel as an assembly. Slide the window forward off the regulator arms and remove the regulator.
