Besides having emission ports for the charcoal canister, and different choke setup (electric, Thermo static, cable) not much. There may have been different Jets installed for emissions. I put an 86 d250 2 barrel on a 68 Plymouth fury. I just plugged the emission ports, ran just fine. Ran so good it idled without the idle screw lol. As long as they are both 2 barrels, and Holly I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you have emission laws you'll just have compare each carb and hook up your emissions if they look under the hood.

are you sure the $71 carb has been rebuilt? almost seems too cheap for a rebuilt carb. most are usually about $120 and up with core. otherwise a 318 is a 318. if is good enough to fuel 1 it is good enough to fuel another. have you checked rockauto?

probably cheap due to high supply and very low demand...

Is this the carb. you are looking at? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-...hQJ~:rk:3:pf:0

If so, I suspect the reason they are so cheap is, they are chinese knock offs.

Have no idea how it would perform or hold up.

that looks like it was meant to be used with the lean burn system. it probably won't work with what you you have. plus it looks like it has been sitting around for a while. i really don't know if i would trust it.
