Hi all, new to this site and forum and just bought an 01 1550 quad cab with the 5.2. I am looking at buying a 23 foot travel trailer, 4200 lbs, and was wondering what you all recomend on trailer brake system and weight distribution/sway control systems. You may have guessed that I am new to RVing also. Any help is appreciated.

 

The first Gen forum only covers up to 1993 so in the future you will get more help in the 2nd Gen section for your truck. I have used Reese in the past and been very happy with them.

 

Thanks Seal, the generation thing is new to me. Any idea on brake systems?
