0daksport, i know someone will second you. so i will nominate xxtnxx, i love the look of it.

Rantz 09-09-2010 11:04 PM

So we have nominations for DakSport and TN.

If User hasn't won already, I'd like to nominate him. If he has, my next choice is BPark

edit: and because you didn't get to compete in the last one :)

Ill second 00daksport...

I would nominate you xxtnxx, but I don't know if there is a minimum post count needed to be nominated. If not, I'll nominate you, I like that truck.

I think that part of being truck of the month is also being a good member. I think that BPark is super supportive on top of having a good looking 4x4. I'd like to nominate BPark.

**Edit*** Then again, User is also a super supportive member who usually contributes much-needed information. Also, he does have a sweet R/T version 2.0 going on right now lol

00dakSport 09-10-2010 08:21 AM

as of now we have,
1 for 00dakSport
2 for xxtnxx
1 for bpark8824

everybody gets to use one nomination and one seconding. then the nominated need to accept. (xxtnxx)

bpark8824 09-10-2010 08:38 AM

I was already in TOM a few months ago. So unless there is nobody else, I think we should try for another truck...

00dakSport 09-10-2010 08:46 AM

unless you won it wont disqualify you.

xxtnxx 09-10-2010 12:00 PM

I accept. 00dakSport you need to accept as well, I nominated you and then BPark seconded.

bpark8824 09-10-2010 12:36 PM

I'll accept I guess, not much has changed since last time lol but oh well...

00dakSport 09-10-2010 01:23 PM

i was counting bparks second nomination of xxtnxx.

No I don't. I'm pretty let down by this exhaust. It isn't nearly loud enough and doesn't really have a great tone. It's a v8 so it can't really sound bad, but it's not as good as I was hoping I know that.

It will probably be getting changed out for a new one this winter over christmas break...

And everyone has accepted 00dak... xxtnxx, yourself, and I have all accepted no?

twitchy 09-10-2010 03:55 PM

bpark what exhaust are you running?

todaniel 09-10-2010 03:59 PM

can i nom. my self? lol

damn, i though you were happy with it....what are you looking at now?

bpark8824 09-11-2010 08:12 AM

twitchy - the one I have now is a Hooker Aerochamber.

And thunder I'm not 100% certain yet really. I might get a ebay kit with a super 44 or maybe a magnaflow. Haven't decided yet. But I want actually hear my exhaust this time. I want it to sound good.

What do you have on your truck and how does it sound dumped? A lot of resonance from it being dumped?

i got the super 44 kit off ebay sounds good, has a lot of interior resonence (mines dumped right behind the cab), but i dont mind really loud, be careful with the ebay kits i had to make mine dumped cause the kit got in the way of the spare and it rattled against the tow hitch im also prolly gonna get a new system this holiday cause i make more money then but im gonna not use a muffler im just gonna have a 2.5" system made that goes from cat and dumps in front of pass rear tire shouldn't be that expensive. but i would recommend if u are gonna go with the fm's definitly spend that extra money and get the stainless mufflers (pipes dont matter they are aluminized) but ive had this muffler on my truck for about 1.5yrs and the muffler is all surfaced rusted, matter of time before it gets some holes, but our trucks sound awesome with no muffler, here in va its legal for inspections cause they count the cat as a muffling device but we got 3 anyways so one of them F'ers better be good for something. also if ur looking for loud look into the flowmaster 10 series

ive got the dynomax race bullet. looks more like a resonator, straight though design. idle its quite, but at wot its pretty good. im sure you all have heard my videos but heres one again.... this video will probably give you best overall sound. my ad complained that it was loud in the cab at 70mph but i love listing to it so it dosent bother me.

thunder98110 09-11-2010 04:37 PM

xxtnxx already seconded me awhile ago, but thats ok. Now we can get this rolling.

Josh Abels 09-11-2010 10:00 PM

no need for tips, never had em on my dual set up, when i get the side exit just gonna to a 45* cut on the end of the pipe looks much better imo than a tip

thunder98110 09-11-2010 10:19 PM

yeah i thought about that, but black chrome is hard to pass up for me. it would match the black out well....so i was doing some scientific testing of my exhaust just now. raping the throttle in neutral coasting down a hill.

bpark8824 09-12-2010 11:35 AM

black chrome would look sweet on your truck thunder

dodgeramguy85 09-12-2010 10:25 PM

Yeah nothing ever sounds as good on camera but it sounds good cant wait to actually take it for a real test drive not just around the block lol

thunder98110 09-13-2010 12:50 PM

with the cut out, not sure if i wanna go with an electric or not. ive got no idea how i would feed the switch into the cab from underneath.

You could go the long way into the engine bay then threw the firewall on the driver side into the cab. I want one but they are 145.00

thunder98110 09-13-2010 01:09 PM

yeah, or 20 for a Y pipe and a cover for it, looks to be the better option. but not as cool as it being electric.

dodgeramguy85 09-13-2010 01:24 PM

yeah much cheaper lol
