Ok, So I was putting on my old tires to get my truck to fit onto a trailer and one of my locking lug nuts stripped. It literally tore a circle into the lugnut, so I have no idea how to get it off. I was not using an impact. Any help is good help. Thanks
same thing happened to me, the corners on the lug was rounded off. took it to a shop and they got it off. they charged me 6 bucks for a 1 lug nut which was BS but oh well.
If you have craftsman sockets with the lifetime warranty...you can try find the smallest socket possible to fit around the leg...preferably a 12-point...you can pound the socket with a hammer to fit on, then you could probably unbolt it that way. When it's out...if you have a table vice...get a punch that will fit in the ratchet side to take the nut out of the socket.

I've seen it done that way, and it worked. I've also seen vice-grips used, but it took a pair of channelocks to get them latched. And un-latching them..lets just say it's a little scary.

or a nut cutter, if you can get your nut in it and still be able to wrist the head of the nut cutter. or a sharp chisel and a BFH. but don't make a mislick could hurt your rims.
could use the old school method, cut a slot in the end of the lug nut, then use your 3/8 ratchet straightblade (you have one, right?) to break it loose.
