I was adjusting the tilt steering on my 2002 Dakota and the control lever snapped. The steering column is now stuck in a position that is uncomfortable for driving. Is this a major repair project? Is this something I should take to the dealer? How do you go about repairing this?

 

2001 dakotas had a recall bulletin addressing this same issue. Maybe check the dodge/Chrysler website for recalls. You'll need your vin number. Mine was fixed for free at the dealer.
