Who here has classic cars or trucks? Pictures would be nice.
1966 Mustang - almost finished
1979 Hurst/Olds - my dads only new car, needs some work

I've always wanted to try a push button tranny.

I had a 63 Chrysler Newport, 4 door. 360 big block engine, automatic with a lever to put it into park and pushbuttons to get it in gear. Nice big boat of a car that got decent fuel mileage. It was the same body style as the 300 and very similar to a New Yorker that year. All very rounded, a nice transition between the fins of the late 50's & early '60's and the square, boxy styling of '64 and later.

I found a kit to convert the points & condensor ignition to electronic. Nice to never have to adjust points by the side of the road again.

I had it sideways in traffic on I5 through Tacoma WA once. Makes you appreciate disk brakes and ABS.

If it had been a coupe (2 door) I might still have that car.

1937 Plymouth Business Coupe (no rear seat). Flathead 6 - 218 cu. in. 97 hp, 3 speed floor shift, original, working radio.

I don't have it but I'm now starting to work on a 1993 Dodge Shadow 3.0L v6. Does that count?

I'm using it to teach my friend car stuff and when it is working, we're going to modify it for 24 hour LeMons racing! He owns a 2012 F-150 with and eco-boost engine and tow package. Yet guess which truck will be the Shadow's hauling buddy.

I've been pretty inactive on this forum lately and here's why... This is my project and now daily driver instead of Dakota. 79 F150 short bed single cab 4x4, I put a 6.9 diesel in it backed by a t19 4 speed with F250 driveshafts (shortened), lifted about 7 inches on 33's. I've had it up to 20 mpg when I wasn't romping on it. I love it. Full restoration including paint is coming this summer and MAYBE a turbo, but it moves pretty good as is because of what the engine is in. Video for you:


It was sanded down when that video was shot, and now it's got another (better) coat of flat black on it to get me through the winter. Here's how she sits right now (next to Kota):

Ive had the same 69 Cougar for the past 25 years as well as another 69 Cougar Eliminator and a 65 Falcon. The Falcon is built to drive with a late model 302HO roller motor, ported heads, cam, gear drive, intake and carb, T5 trans, 9" rear... Back some 15 years ago Jesse James did the exhaust which is a true dual from the headers back exiting just before the rear wheels, glasspacks and resonated dual tips. It wasnt easy to find someone that knew how to do a true dual exhaust on that car.
