331,000-plus Miles; Tell Me What I've Won, Johnny!
So my 2000 Dodge Dakota earlier this week hit the 331,000 mark...under its own power, to boot. WOohOo!
I'd be curious to know the numbers for other 2000s. Anyone? |
co worker husbands truck just hit 527000km's.. so roughly 327k miles? its about to fall apart from cnd road salt.. but still going strong.

Got 281K on my daily driver, with the 4.7L. It's now my only vehicle, as I gave my Honda to my daughter, early this year.

Wow, I have a 98 with 250K on it so looking forward to another 100k maybe on the same engine. I'm retired so always touching up the rust spots which really are not too many. The truck's undercoating really did it's job. A little rust near the spare tire which I cleaned up and repainted. A little rust in the front just behind the headlight was just treated with some nutri-stuff. The drive shaft always amazes me, I guess it's stainless as it looks new every time I go under the vehicle and look around. 331K is just amazing but of course this wouldn't happen if it wasn't taken care of so, good job! A new truck for me wouldn't do a whole lot except probably cost me more in gas and payments so, this one stays with me til it don't go anymore.

well my current 2003 AWD quad cab has roughly converted 150k miles but its doubtfull it will even see 200k miles (320k km's? ish lol) since it was never taken care of by last owner(8 years) and is showing the signs of cancer taking over the box hardcore let alone the rear frame :( I can slow it down but the inevitable ..

I hope my dodge reaches my toyota's mileage one day...
1997 Toyota Camry: 2.2L I4 5-speed: Currently 459,700 miles and still burning rubber (it's funny to white-smoke FWD) 1998 Dodge Dakota: 3.9L V6 Auto: Currently 174,660 miles and purring. Everything I've heard about the 3.9, it should with some proper care, entire truck is still in good shape so it just might. |
