viper fan is the most popular a/m fan for our trucks, but i know camero, vette, and cadi fans fit in our trucks, you just need to look around and do research.. thats how i found out most of my ****.

on your original question about the tensioner, put a wrench or socket or square drive, or whatever fits into the tensioner, and then rotate it in the direction that relieves tension from the belt, then slip it off the pulley.
i wouldn't waste money on a clutch fan tool. use a big adjustable wrench that will open up about 2 inches.
i'm not sure about your dak, but on a ram you can't get the fan shroud off while the fan is still in place. instead, you have to remove the fan, then loosen the shroud, then pull them out together. again-- thats on a ram.

took 50 min for me and a buddy to replace the water pump which includes removing the clutch fan.
channel locks to grip the waterpump and a wrench on the clutch fan.
i got a finger in between the blade and the housing, yeah a deep chunk was taken out.
