3815 VS perf. PCM

ok, i need to upgrade my computer and am debating going to a 3815 or a mopar perf PCM. i know in the long run the PCM would be better because it will still work when i get that nitrous up and running, BUT in the short term, the 3815 is easier and more cost effective b/c ill keep it in 'econ' most of the time. what do you think the power numbers are for a perf. PCM? i know the 3815 is making some HUGE power number claims. thanks in advance guys.

where do you get this mopar performance PCM that you speak of? I've never heard of that before...

you cannot run a performance pcm on the bottle. you will need a programer to retard the timing. or you may very well have to use the stock pcm when wanting to use the nitrous. i already went through this with my dakota. the factory pcm will give you the correct amount of timing retard, unless you get a timing box, like they make for the hemis. if you want a real pcm get intouch with www.bionicdodge.com

really? thats not what i have been told. if that is indeed the case then i will go with the 3815 for the time being. and then just have a custom tune done when it comes to go on the bottle. anyone have any supporting or contradicting evidence to help me out?

ive heard you cant use the performance pcm with nitrous too. You may be better off just getting an SCT tune.
