O'Reily's auto parts?

Just replaced the upper and lower balljoints on my '01 Dakota and bought them from O'Reily's as they where $20 less per joint than autozone(I hate Autozone). I was just curious of everybody's general opinion of O'Reily's auto parts.

i wouldn't think there would be much of a difference. i just go to which ever is most convenient at the time

at home, it doesn't matter where you go, you could ask for a rdiaotr for a 1960 Rabbit and they'd go looking for it....

all they know is what the computer screen says. if they can't read the screen, they get somebody to read it for them, or to look for it themselves.

but generally we use orielly's over AZ. We don't have a Napa or we'd go to them no question.

I have an Advance, O'Reilly's, and Autozone. I always go to Advance for help, then 1/8th of a mile down the road to O'reilly's because it is cheaper.

I just recently started going to O'Reilly and I have to say the staff at the one i go to know way more than any autozone or advance of course all the guys that work at this one are in the middle of rebuilding several different vehicles when they have nothing to do with customers they are in the parkinglot working on there rides.

It's just the opposite here. Although O'Reilly is always cheaper, the guys at advance know their stuff.

Napa ftw!

dodgeramguy85 Mar 22, 2009 11:19 PM

Well I like my auto zone. There is also a napa but they have screwed me over too many times so I dont like them. Advanced is ok they help you out as much as possible but they are normally little bit more expansive than auto zone. We dont have a O'Reilly anywhere around.
