Default whats the difference?

im wondering whats all the difference between the 2000 automatic dakota vs 2000 manual dakota?

ive come up with this...

tranmission
trans cross mount
computer from a 5speed dakota
clutch pedal
clutch master cylinder
lines for plumbing
driveshaft


is there anything else?

god i hope so... BUT if i were you, i would pull a 4.7 from a manual dak and just do a full tranny and engine swap at the same time... so that way you can do all the work at once if you know what i mean

correct me if i am wrong but the motor mounts aren't the same (since he has a 4.7)

**** the 5.2...if im gonna go to the trouble to make mounts for a 5.2, i mightas well go with a 5.9L!!!

and i dont have the kind of money to do a full drivtrain swap...plus...id be out of a truck for a week of two

i was thinking of doing the engine first out of a low milage dakota from a junkyard...and hving a trusted mechanic install it quickly

and then about late to later summer id start making plans on doin the full on 5 speed swap!!!

Once she gets to 200k rebuild her and then drive her for another 200k.

And def swap in a 5 speed.
