question about upgrading 99 dakota sport

I just picked up this truck, so far i've liked it but id like to upgrade the shocks and leaf springs they are still factory, and i was hoping to get a 2-4inch lift out of the new parts. I was wondering how hard it would be to replace those parts and if, i use to have a 93 wrangler and i upgraded the leaf springs and shocks on that just fine but that thing was so easy to work on. Also any good sites ud recommend for parts? Also with 2-4in lift will that require anything extra to keep all the lines and drive shaft and what not in line? or will i need to get longer stuff?

For lift kits check the FAQ in this section. For shocks go to www.autozone.com and take your pick.

the FAQ suspensions are no good for what i'm looking for, they are either body lifts, for 2wd or more then 4in lift. I am lookin for 2-4in lift for a 4x4 dakota.

Will a 2-4in lift require changing out lines or drive shaft?

I'm in the same boat as you... I just bought a nice used Dakota 4X4, ext. cab, and i want to run a 3" lift to fit 33"tires. Its a pain to find a decent COMPLETE kit!
If you find one let me know...

For 33's or 2in get the re-indexed torsion bar keys. For another 2 or 3 in get the body lift. For under $200 you can have a 5in lift. Extremely simple. And all located in the FAQ.
