Cold Tranny works, hot tranny don't....
 

97 Dakota 2WD, AUTO, V6, 181K miles....

When I first start the truckhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif in the morning, everything works fine. Shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd and so on without issue. Once the engine/tranny warms up (10 minutes tops) the tranny does not want to shift into 3rd. It will shift from 1st to 2nd but not any further. Sometimes I can come to a complete stop, go back to park, then back to drive and it will shift all the way again.

Is the tranny shot? Fluid need to be replaced? Is there a sensor that could stop working once it heats up?
