Installed my Hid's today

Ok well I installed my hid's today and was pretty simple. If any of you are wondering this is the kit I ordered. http://www.mydepots.com/55w-hid-kit-bixenon-p-12.html
Other thing is I only have high beams there is no difference when switching to low beams and fogs wont work either so its not switching to lows. Anyone have any idea why? I dont think I could of screwed anything up it was all plug in a move to other side. The thing im thinking is thanks to DHL my package was damaged it wasnt too bad but enough to mess the box up anyway I wanted to send them back and I sent pics but they said its not that bad and if it will make me feel better they will extend my warranty(which they did) do you think that the rough shipping messed something up and thats why it wont switch to lows? This is my first set of HID's so I have no clue whats going on. Ill get pics up of them later on.

well idk what K you got cuz i didnt care to click the link or whatever, but i know after i installed my 10k, their so much brighter then my normal brights, that i have no need for brights anymore, and well for fogs you dont really need them

I only did 6k and they are about 1,000 times better than stock

Btw new info on low beam problem when switch is pulled out the whole way just hids are on no fogs or lows no matter what. If you go from knob whole way out to only half out which should norm be fogs and parking lights are now fogs and hid's(still showing high beam light on cluster) then if you hit the button to turn the fogs off it shuts fogs and hid's off but leaves parking lights on. Then if you turn them off(push in the knob) then pull knob out half way(not full way out first) its just fogs and parking lights and you can then control the fogs with the fog button and hids will still stay off. Im so lost idk whats going on

Pics for sure...

And honestly if the box was fine chances are they didn't damage it. It's much more likely you just mixed something up installing them. Sometimes even though you think you did it all correct a small thing could be off, causing it. Now I don't know how they are wired because I've never done HID's but I'm willing to bet its something you did and not because of shipping... just my $.02 though.

I dont see what I could of hooked up wrong. You couldnt really mess anything up with plugging stuff in cause no 2 plugs were the same. User has the same kit im hoping he can help me out.

As for your problem:

Swap the high beam wire and the low beam wire on the blue connector that plugs into your factory headlight socket. Had the same problem with my dakota when I put in HIDs.

And no there is no difference between the high and low. Pointless unless you need to pass inspection like I do.

I was starting to think that but wasnt sure if that would mess anything up I guess its worth a try. Thanks
