Bad news and good news

Well some may have seen my posts once in a blue moon about my 92 dakota. Tranny blew and I don't have the room to pull it (just replaced the clutch aswell!) so I decided to sell it. Kind of glad I don't need to sand my crappy primer job down lol.

But I picked up a 98 dakota yesterday for 2000$ (has 196000 kms) CAD 3.9 5sp 4x4 same truck pretty much just a light blue.

I am going to install my roller rocker arms (pulled them out of my other truck before I sold it) and my hitch this weekend (I work on it on the street since my car is parked hence why I can't do a tranny r & r lol)
I have an exhaust, intake (just a 3' inlet filter going to fab something up), underdrive pulley kit, electric fans and some plugs and stuff on order from summit racing.

Anything I should think of replacing before I go too far into buying other junk? I am going to change most of the fluids pretty quick here.

They are sick cars but not going to lie has less than 100k kms on it and have had to sink 8000$ (2000 of it was becuse I decided to slide it sideways into a curb...) in parts for repairs in the last 10k kms lol. Also didn't have a single mechanical flaw when I purchased it.

It is a 16 year old twin turbo awd car after all but still!

I would change every fluid axles, tranny, transfer case ect also check ball joints, tie rods, shocks, bushings, full tune up(plugs, wires, cap, rotor) Clean the throttle body pretty much after all that you should have a really good running truck.
