Default Air intake system?

Would it help the mileage I am getting on my '97 Dak 4x4 318 if I added an air intake system to my engine?

I would take an extra 2 mpg, 14 mpg sucks. K&N a good one? I have never looked at these before....totally in the blind on them. What is a good price for one and a good place to buy them? I have a K&N filter in my stock air box now.
