Default front drive shaft removal

i've been chasing down a grinding some where in my front end, i've replaced the passenger side half-shaft and hub and bearing asssembly. still no change. i'm considering taking out the front drive shaft to see if theres any difference. my question is - will it be alright to drive with the front shaft removed. i don't see why not, but i figure theres no harm in asking.

thanks

Yeah you will be alright. It's pretty easy to get out to. 4 bolts on one end and I believe 6 on the other end and shes out.
