Heat working but not really??? Thermostat???

Question Heat working but not really??? Thermostat???

Well it got a bit chilly in FL lately so I turned on my heat. The heat seems to get slightly warm but not hot. I am not sure what the problem could be. I dont have a flood of coolant anywhere like the heater core is bad. Could it be the thermostat is bad??? anything else???

The A/C works great just not "no" heat but barely any

It's probably the heater core is plugged up. It's a pretty common problem on Dakota's. Check out this link, it has pics and very good instructions of how to flush out the heater core:

it works. i flushed my heater core yesterday, now the heat is....HOT!
