Suspension lift

ive been snooping around doing a bit of research and i had come across this:
http://www.totalperformanceonline.co...21/30/100-14-2

i had then read over this part, "The truck will still have some rake after installation." does this mean i cant completely level the truck out? oh and has anyone purchased this kit? seems pretty cheap only being a $150.00. im not gonna be doing any off roading, its mainly for looks and to also get bigger tires.

from reading what they put on the link it sounds like the front will still be slightly lower then the rear. when i had my dakota a few years back it was a 1996 and i put a rough country kit on there its a little more price rise but better quality and it levels your truck while still being able to put bigger tires on

Is this intended for the truck in your avatar? If so, you might want to make sure if it will fit. That link is for a 1st Gen...

Yeah this is for a first gen but it should still work. I would make sure tho. I have my truck leveled with my stock keys. I think with these keys you should be fine.

sorry about that, i posted the wrong one i meant this one
http://www.totalperformanceonline.co...ayout_0100.xsl

like i said before im not looking for no hardcore off roading, just to throw some bigger tires on is there not a way to level on that front end then?

dodgeramguy85 12-14-2011 10:28 PM

You can level the front you might just have to drop the back a little. I dont think you need to worry about it. I have stock keys cranked almost the whole way up and I can fit 32's no problem. If I had a body lift I could fit 33's.

it will work i basically have the same thing except i got 2.5 in my front, i can fit 35s with my body lift if i put wheel spacers in

Brian_ 12-14-2011 10:39 PM

just found this from what blaze had sent me;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-2004-DO...item19ca02674e

they look like the same kits? i figured this might be a bit better since this is what blaze recommended and i think this is what hes running on his rig

edit: just looked into it both are the same brands, which would be better place to buy from?

I have 35's on mine with no wheel spacers......works out ok as long as u don't need to
max out ur steering. I've been looking and can't find the right spacers to even out the front and rear

blaze where did you get your keys and blocks? i dont want to have a rake. i personally think it looks a bit goofy sitting a inch lower in the front
