Hey guys. I got a check engine light on yesterday and I checked the oil, coolant etc and the gas cap and nothing is out of order.

I tried to pull codes and got nothing. Just the odometer going in swirls then back to its normal odometer reading.

I pulled the negative battery cable to clear the check engine light and then put the cable back on. The check engine light is still on though.

The truck runs fine. Good charging strength, clean battery cables & connections, clean air filter, good oil level and pressure and the coolant level is good and the temp is normal.

This is puzzling me. Any thoughts? Dave

 

that is very weird. have you checked your headlights? my connection was bad and my check light came on. had to connect it right and dissconnect the battery for 30+ seconds to clear it. now its all good.

 

I haven't checked the headlight connections yet but I will check it in the morning when the sun comes up! Thanks, Dave
