Shocks for 98 Dakota, 3" lift and 33's
Hi, purchased a 98 Dakota SLT with 5.2. It has a 3" lift and 33" Mud tires. Truck is awesome....but shocks are totally rusted out. They work, but the outsides are half gone from rot!
Not sure what size shock I need. Any idea what I should be looking for since the ones on the truck are undescribable...lol....If you can read through rust, i'll take a pic Thanks in advance. |
If its a 3" body lift(guessing it is) just get stock size shocks....if its a suspension lift you'll def need to go with something longer
What do thw shocks look like? They stock or are they aftermarket. Body lift or suspension lift?
Sorry, I never got back....
I have pics of the front and rear shocks...look like different ones. and I think it 's a 3" suspension lift from what I can see. One somewhat identifiable shock in the rear says sensatrac.... Thanks. http://www.websitedrive.com/img/dak1.jpg http://www.websitedrive.com/img/dak2.jpg http://www.websitedrive.com/img/dak3.jpg |

No idea. I just bought it that way lol. I'm not familiar with lifts. I'll take more front end pics.
