2005 Dodge Ram won't pass smog
 

Hi. I have a Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with 5.7 hemi. It won't pass smog. It's fine on the emissions side, just doesn't pass the computer check portion. I've been told by 2 different people that if I change my battery out it does something to cause issues with the smog test. They told me this before I even said anything. No one can tell me what I need to do other than drive the **** out of it. I changed the battery out in December and I drive my truck daily. Everything is stock. One person told me it could be the ECM, but I don't know why changing the battery out would cause the ECM to go bad. Anyone have any advice? Help!!!
