Been on the back burner, finally got it done.

Bumper was fog delete, so I used a large hole saw and knocked out the plugs, then cleaned it up with my dremel and used flat black to patch where the saw peeled back the plastidip.

HID's are 6500K, not sure why they look green.

I wish they had side post batteries in the size I use. AZ quit offering them.

Looks good!

Its funny that they look green during the day. Maybe its just the angle/lighting of that shot.

How far would you guess that they project light? I don't have fogs and won't put any on my Dak, but I"m interested to know how far the HID fogs produce light.

Is that a power amp under the hood? Thermal shutdown much?

Well here's the thing, I'm using them for supplemental lighting. The headlights light up the roadway real well to a limit, but not any signs and even the reflective lines on the road go dark at some point. The HID's don't make usable light, I doubt I could drive on them only, but it's possible. What they do that I like is light up from way left field of view to way right field of view, and anything that can reflect, will reflect within a good quarter mile. They light up everything the headlights don't, so if there's a dog on the side of the road wanting to cross, the HID's may illuminate it, but its a guarantee the headlights won't.

You need to run these
http://www.kilbyenterprises.com/imag...5004-1-n-2.jpg

As far as the fogs I ran hid fogs on my dakota dna run them on my ram. Both 35watt 6000k temp. I could easily run at night just with them on. No they arent as good as hid headlights but if needed it was possible. Try aiming them in a little. My fogs in my ram are closer together(2 1/2 feet apart maybe) They dont shine far out(as fogs arent meant to) but I could def just drive with them on prob up to 45mph allowing me to safely travel and still being able to stop in time.
