General Grabber AT2 vs. Nitto exo vs. Nitto Terra Grapplers
#2
IMO I looked at the General AT's and for the price i would rather go with the real thing the BFG's.. Better quality from what i read.. but honestly i went with the Good Year Duratrack which are a more aggressive All terrain. I got mine for less than $800 for a set of 4 out the door at discount. I really like mine; THey got me through a pond and i was deep too found pond skum even inside my intake and all over everything.. I would buy them again if looking for all terrains.
IMO.

Honestly I loved my bfg's a/t's that I had on my dakota. I ended up getting 32x10.50x15's online shipped to my house for 610.00. Also just put cooper atp on our 07 ram. Got them for 730.00 Granted thats for a 20in wheel tho. Couldnt pass up the deal 40.00 off plus a 70.00 visa gift card! They handle great and are a beefy tread.

When comparing tires, always, always, always use TireRack.com's Tire Survey's. MUCH more comprehensive and many, many more user reviews (Survey results) than coming to one specific car/truck forum and getting a couple people's opinion.
Here's the link to TireRack's All-Terrain Tire Survey.
Take notice where the Destination ATs are.... #2. Now look at how many miles folks have driven on them -Vs- the #1 tire. Oh, and yes, I have used Destination AT's personally on 2 different vehicles. Absolutely out-standing tires. Awesome in the snow and everywhere else.

Oh! Wanna see something else about tires ?
Someone will say, "I have Goodyear Wranglers and they are awesome!"
Now, look how many DIFFERENT types of GY Wranglers GY has made over the years. There are at least 6-7 DIFFERENT tread types of GY Wrangers! No joke!
Look!

This particular GY Wrangler (RT/S) is one of the WORST tires ever produced (IMHO). Useless on snow and ice. Just as bad a highway tread tires. They came on a 98 Explorer I used to own.
It's so bad that TireRack has pulled it off their Survey! I participated in the Survey on these tires years ago.

For a reserved AT GY's are ok on a light truck or SUV.. but not something i would put my money on..
I took the Good Year Duratracs through a pond and sunk my truck and i came out with no issues at all my only complaint is wet roads turning light *** end with LSD they like to break loose a little but other than that they have great off road abilities.
