1998 3.9 Dakota.... How to Set the Timing

Searched around a bit and can't find what I need.

Could someone kindly please point me to a How-To Set the Timing on a 3.9 Dakota ?

TIA

you can't. It is set in the PCM based off the crank position sensor. All that turning the distributor will do is throw cam sync codes and make your truck backfire and quit running and send you to the dealer via towtruck. You get a 5 degree margin of error on the sync of the 2 sensors.

That's what I figured...... :icon_rolleyes:

BTW, I changed out that thermostat (again....) yesterday. I'll give an update on my other thread.
