Default What towing mirrors would you recommend?

Hi guys

2004 Dakots QC 4x4 .4.7.... looking to purchase some universal towing mirrors... purchased an old 73' Vanguard travel trailer and the drive home consisted of me looking at the cars when there was a bend in the road... yikes...

There seems to be a lot of the same things a.k.a snap on the mirrors.

Can anyone speak to fender mounted mirrors being worse or better than snap on mirrors?

Cheers
Parker

which mirrors does your truck have, fixed or hinged?

I had no problems with our 20' car hauler behind my truck with the hinged mirrors and the little 2" round stick-on trailer mirrors on each side.

We tried the snap-on mirrors on our dually and hated them. Gives you very bad double vision and doesn't help you see around the trailer much at all.

My truck has the hinged electric mirrors.

My travel trailer is wider and taller than the truck so I found it very difficult to see what was happening behind me. Even with the mirrors adjusted full-stop to the outer sides, I couldn't see much.

Trailer is 18ft long, 6 1/2 ft wide.
