Would an Old el camino v8 engine fit in a 96 dakota

I have a v8 engine from an old el camino and a 96 dakota with no engine would the v8 fit and would it be worth it. Or would it be to much work fabrication and headaches. Please help if you have the knowledge

Would it fit? Probably. Would it be worth it? Probably not. LOTS of work to make a chevy engine bolt into a dodge truck.... and make everything work. Won't bolt to the trans, and I highly suspect no one makes an adapter for it either. Be much easier to find a dodge motor to go in there. 318 or 360 would work. (93 or newer please.)
