Are components from the 4.7L engine compatible with the 5.9L?

So got a couple parts Dakota's which are both 4.7L engines. Just bought a Durango the same year, but it's the RT Sport edition with the 5.9L engine. From looking at it, it seems as if components like the power steering pump and alternator could swap right over from my 4.7s. is that true or false?

I'm not sure if the compressors are the same. I know power steering is not. I don't think alternator is but I might be wrong.

Other than that, solid no. Two completely different platforms designed about 30 years apart.

would love to see a 3.7 to 5.9 conversion. i imagine the whole harness and transmission would also have to be changed as well as the mounts and drive shaft maybe

the pushrod and OHV engines are so different it's not even funny. You'd basically have to strip the engine bay clean and start over.

Well, come to find out the guy selling the Durango had no idea what he was selling. It was a 4.7L lol. On that note though, are the rear springs the same on 01 Dakota's and Durango's? The Durango has one that snapped
