PO302 Error
I am having issues with my 2004 Dodge Dakota V8
Check engine light came on 2 weeks ago and this code says cylinder 2 misfire. Had the entire engine tuned up, spark plugs and firing wire boots all replaced. Reset the code and it came back.
Took it back to my friend who pulled and replaced the injector in cylinder 2 and ran 44K though it (BG products fuel treatment like Sea Foam,) Ran it a few days and this code keeps coming back.
Are there rods in a 4.7 V8 as it tried to make a clicking sound sometimes. He thought it was a valve not seating due to carbon, but thought it may be a lifter problem or cam shaft problem. Not wanting to spend a boatload on this truck but it has ran good up to this point 171K
Anyone, any ideas?

I must be lucky as heck. Just this past Sunday, I forgot to put the cap on properly, lost all my coolant and overheated to the point of boiling the little that was left. I refilled and immediately proceeded to drive 450 miles, running 80-90 mph with the truck loaded down and overheating a bit because I couldn't get all the air out at the time. The truck is back to normal it seems, with no further issues . Running a good synthetic and always keeping it topped off over the years, makes a difference, I guess.
