P0270 code won't clear
 

Last year I came up with code Po270 on my 99 V6 Dakota and replaced the rear speed sensor. Simple enough.
I just had the same code come up again, however after replacing the sensor again and
clearing the code, after a minute the code came right back. The vehicle runs fine with the
exception of taking a few more RPMs to shift gears. Is there anything else that is usually
associated with this error code?

The code reads that the output shaft speed isn't within spec of vehicle speed. Sounds like there is a sensor on the tranny output?
