Would I have problems putting one of these on my truck since the body would be 3in's higher then the frame. Because i have been wanting to get one but i was thinking this may be a problem, would it be, and i want the one with the skid plate would this be a factor also?

 

I have one of those on my truck and they don't mount directly to the frame. All mine did was get sandwitched between the bumper brackets and the frame. Surprisingly its pretty secure but I would still like to run a weld bead along it to make it even more so. I wouldn't recommend seeing how big of an object you can push with it. I have also been really carful about hitting it on anything because I also have 240 lightforces on it.
