I was looking at the fastman throttle bodies and I heard the v8 ones are good for modified 3.9's. I decided against doing superchips because i'm putting a blower on this summer, so i'm doing a throttle body instead.

Would this one fit? It says its for v8, but I thought thats what i'm looking for.

Is this good?

 

i dont see a reason for it not to fit, you got to replace the throttle cable though, from the pedal to the tb... wont fit

Throttle shaft.. is that what I need? Because it says it comes with one. Or is that a shaft somewhere inside the throttle body that they thinned out for better performance?

If so, where could I get the correct throttle cable, what kind do I need, how hard is it to install?

 

the shaft is part of the tb, which opens the flaps to let air in... the tb is missing the sensors u need, so your gonna have to swap over the sensors from the old tb... the cable you can go to napa for or go to a dealership and order the part for a v8, your truck model year... simply explain what your doing and you should have no problem
