HVAC resistor how to!!
It's been a while, and I come back bearing a gift...
I finally got around to replacing the faulty resistor board in my Dak... it's nice to have the low setting on my HVAC again! While I was doing it, I took pics so I could write up a how-to. I know I had a little bit of an issue getting the pn for this... so I wanted to put all that info into one spot.
So without further ado... here it is!

The Dak is coming off daily driver duty in a few months... so stay tuned for the mods!

RE: HVAC resistor how to!!
Good write up. I noticed that the parts looked identical to the ones that I had (New and old) and when I did the install, I noticed the design change. Wonder if they actually found out why they kept failing and made the change. and just wonder what did you pay for the part? I think mine was like 60 bucks, and the parts guy was a dick. It wasn't the normal dealer that I would go to, nor would go to again.

I have so many more article written for my old site that have no yet been re-written for my site's second coming. And as I said, once my Dak is not my dd, I'm going to start modding it so there'll be plenty more write ups!

RE: HVAC resistor how to!!
Thanks gutted,
Would anyone happen to know if Mopar offers a replacement plug that connects to the resistor. I have found the complete harness, but I just need the plug as one of the pins has shorted and my blower will not run at any speed (unless I jiggle the connector and get lucky)
Thanks,
TimM

Just recieved the replacment resistor and the wiring kit for the blower resistor.
No instructions just a kit which includes:
1 - replacemnet plug
2 - plastic doo dads (short for I have no idea what these are for)
5 - 2.5" pieces odf shrink tube
5 - small crimp connectors
5 - medium crimp connectors
5 - large crimp connectors
5 - green leads with tin plated terminals
5 - green leads with gold terminals
5 - violet leads with tin plated terminals
5 - violet leads with gold terminals
Any help or suggestions with replacing the plug wil be appreciated.
Replacing the resistor is a no brainer, but this kit has me scratching my head.
Thanks in advance,
