Default Heater Blower Motor Resistor Wiring Connector

I swear I saw a post on here which included info on a special service kit available from Dodge to repair the Heater Blower Motor Resistor Wiring within the connector. I've searched high and low and cannot find the info again though. Does anyone have info on this kit, part number(s) etc or even better with pics on the repair?

your best bet is get in touch with dodge about this. i remember seeing something like that a long time ago. best bet is get in touch with mopar about this whereas dodge dealerships are useless.. looking for the master rebuild kit for a 42re rebuild im doing on a 99 cherokee, dodge dealership had no idea what i was talking about. called up the mopar division from one of the mopar magazines concerning parts and rebuild kits, gave me a part number and all.

Dodge dealers sell a replacement plug with a 12 inch wire pigtail to replace the whole resistor pack connector. It's a lot easier and a much more reliable repair. The Mopar part number for the connector should be 05017124AA. Check at the Parts Dept. at the Dodge dealership.

01SilverCC do you know where I can get them cheap? They want $100 for them here in Canada.

Thanks,

Sorry. I tried to find them online but came up with nothing. Maybe call some junk yards or if you have a you-pull-it type yard up there if they have it it should be cheap to cut out of a donor truck.
