Default CV Joint for front driveshaft

I noticed a bad humming and a slight grind coming from the front after I drove around in 4wd this week. Then I looked under and noticed the boot around the cv was totally gone and so was any grease that was suppose to be packed around the bearings...

Anyway long story short I need a new cv joint for the front driveshaft on the t-case end. But I called Napa and Federated and neither had one. I then called Dodge and they say they only sell the whole drive shaft assembly... at $412. I don't want to pay that much for something when I only need the cv. Anyone know where I can get JUST cv? If not I will have to look into getting a re-maned drive shaft or the junk yard. But really hoping I can get just the cv.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Default front shafts

The whole front shafts are only $60.00 or so at Advance Auto. Replaced one when I worked on my 98

Default

They changed in 2000 to a better unit, and they got more expensive in the process...

Thanks though.
