Default Throttle body spacer question

well i was wondering is anyone would happen to know if the throttle body spacer that lmc truck sells is worth the time or is it just a waste of money. this is the link of the part in question http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/dde/full.aspx?Page=51 the part is on the bottom right of the page. only reason i am asking is cause i am pretty much just tring to upgrade any part i can think of to get a bit more power out of the truck that i can. its pretty fun when u smoke a little sports car off the line.

oo btw i have a 4.7 L Quad cab.
