Default Hot air out of vents-2003 Dakota

Does anyone know of a fix to stop the hot air from coming out of the vents on a 2003 Dakota Extend cab when the ac is off? There is no shut off on the heater hoses, so there is hot water going through the heater core all the time.

I will move this to the 2nd generation Dakota sub-forum, in there is a good write up on an easy install of a shut off valve you can install on your heater hose.

It sounds like your HVAC box has the outside air leak also.
